First time to an auction? Are wondering what to expect?
Find below some quick tips everyone should know before arriving to the auction.
- All Auctions are Open to the Public and anyone can attend. You must attend an On-Site Auction if you want to bid. As this is the fairest for those who attend the auction (Telephone or Proxy Bids are excluded).
- Deposit is required to grant access to the auction. This deposit is credited towards any purchases and is refundable if you wish to leave. We created this deposit process to ensure bidders do not walk after bidding occurs. Each deposit varies depending upon the auctions, a typical deposit is $100 (*subject to change, depending on auction).
- After Deposit is received, show your State Issued ID / Driver's License and any applicable tax information. You have the opportunity to preview the auction items.
- Items bought are "As-Is". There is NOT a warranty expressed, written or implied on the goods sold at the auction.
- Please be courteous to everyone at the auction, if someone is disruptive, they will be asked to leave the premises.
- Winning bidders of an item must pay that day or make payment arrangements before leaving the auction.
- PICKUP WINNING ITEMS: Pick up your winning items from the auction by the following Thursday.
- 10% buyer’s premium applies plus State Sales Tax
- Out-of-State bidders are welcome. For out-of-state purchases of firearms, we must ship the firearm using your state's FFL Dealer. Buyer is responsible for Shipping and Insurance.
For Buyers
If you have never been involved in an Auction, then you are in for a TREAT. Live auctions are the best as you can see the product up close and personal. The live audience at a Texas Auction is so exciting with all the bidding and social activity. Maybe you don't like social gatherings, then Online Auctions are just as exciting as you can zoom into the image closely and enjoy the bidding but from the comfort of your own home.

For Sellers/Consignments
Does your organization need to earn some money? Does your organization have a strong community support? Are you able to plan a large event? Do you have access to a committed group of volunteers, maybe even 15 or 20 people? If you answered yes to those questions, then an Auction is just the type of fundraiser you need. Holding this type of event takes several months for the payoff, but if you can wait it can be profitable. Auctions are more interactive and engaging than a traditional fundraiser.
